Peoria redeems itself
I took the suggestion of one of the commenters and went to the East Peoria Walmart to shop. I quickly found out that Peoria doesn’t have the market cornered for stupidity. First, as I was pulling into the parking lot a girl was walking and some random guy in the car in front of me hollered at her that he would give her a ride. Without any hesitation she jumps in the car. So if a blonde girl with a bubble butt is missing she got in a red sports car with a guy in a blue ballcap. Second, I was shopping in the store when over the loud speaker someone asks the bus driver to please come to the front of the store or the bus will leave without you! Third and finally an old lady had her panties in a twist because the woman in line ahead of me in the 20 items or less line had 22 items. Peoria was looking better by the minute. So as I leave Walmart I think maybe the dumbasses have been migrating to other areas then it happened. As I was crossing the Bob Michel bridge there was a sign that said the left lane was closed. When I got closer it was the right lane that was closed. Cornering the market on stupidity is another thing the city of Peoria just doesn’t want East Peoria to have!

Hmm, maybe the guy was facing the other way as he setup the “lane closed” sign… Dee-Dee-Dee!!

I forgot the forth observation at Walmart. They had an aisle of things for lunches for back to school and amongst them were cases of Ramen noodles, the ghetto dinner of champions!

ahhem, Ramen noodles is the staple of dorm room living at college. Cheap and easy to make. I think your giving the ghetto way too much credit. Besides, no self serving ghetto person with a LINK card would stoop that low.

If you knew how many kids were amazed that I cook hamburgers, roasts, pork chops, vegetables, etc. for my family for dinner you would be shocked. Most of them then ask if they can eat at our house.

oops! I made Ramen’s last night…not for dinner but as a side dish. I cook them, drain them and then add the packet of seasoning with some butter. He would prefer them over mashed potatoes!
BTW, the main food was BBQ ribs

That was me that had the 22 items in the express line.

Yo, don’t be playa hatin’ on my Ramens.

I was at the East Peoria Walmart once…only got as far as in the parking lot, and then we decided to go to Bergner’s…
Yeah Kevin…Ramen’s Rock!

Try Washington! Then you can go to Golden Corral (since Peoria does not have a decent family priced steak buffet anymore – I miss the old Bonanza and Eric’s). Home Town leaves me wondering why I gave it one more try!

Go to Galesburg – even worse. Probably even more white trash-ie. hehe

Oh, boy, I made the mistake of going to East Peoria walmart last Friday evening (yes, I have a very exciting life, that seems to revolve around dropping teenagers off places then having to find ways to entertain myself until pick up time). It was social security check day, need I say more?

Ah, “blue day”. Blue card, blue hair every first of the month.
