I am Karen Carter. I live in the East Bluff with my family. Last summer some smart mouthed kid told me to “take my Barbie ass back home” as I was going to see my neighbor. Shortly after that the email of the Barbies of Peoria County made it to my inbox and we were dismayed that there was no East Bluff Barbie so my neighbor started calling me the East Bluff Barbie. My blog is purely sarcastic and not to be taken seriously. It is mocking the news of the day and the area we live in. I hope it brings a smile to your face. Enjoy!!

I am not a Peoria native so I don’t know where the East Bluff is, but I certainly wouldn’t mind having a Barbie ass in my neighborhood.

I loved that e-mail. I live in the East Bluff too. Can’t beat the affordable old housing and the mennonite ladies with perfect landscaping. But it’s getting worse year after year.
